Fat Shark has a new set of FPV goggles coming off the line today. Called the Recon, this set of goggles is aimed at entry level pilots and FPV partners looking for a cost effective solution for full, Ready to Fly (RTF) kits.
The Recon is built as a simple, all-in-one solution to FPV. It’s got a built-in, USB-chargeable battery and an integrated, four-band receiver, making it ready to fly out of the box. The headset features a big, bright and clear WQVGA screen with an immersive, VR-style field of view. It’s easy enough for first time micro racers and robust enough for professional MultiGP pilots.
Right now, the Recon is only positioned for partner sales and integration into larger FPV bundles. Read Allan Evans’ Medium post about the headset here or email him at allan[at]fatshark[dot]com to start a conversation.
Later this week, we’ll share more about the Recon headset and its features.
