A big part of Fat Shark’s new 101 Kit is focuses on training. To get users off the ground, the kit comes with free DRL simulator access and a provisional membership to the Academy of Model Aeronautics, the largest governing body for model aircraft (including quadcopters) in the United States.
AMA membership comes with a host of benefits including training courses and monthly publications, but one of the best benefits that it provides is free insurance.
Upon registering your Fat Shark 101 quad, membership information will be forwarded (if requested) to the AMA and a provisional, three month account created. Youth memberships, of note, are always free.
